Future Innovator Scholarship Program

The Future Innovator Scholarship Program aims to support and empower aspiring young professionals who are passionate about shaping the future of agriculture through innovation and technology. This scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to high school students who plan to pursue education and careers in diesel mechanics/technology, precision agriculture, and agribusiness.

Eligibility Requirements

  • ✔

    Applicant(s) must be graduating high school senior within our trade area. Special consideration will be
    given to those applicant(s) who have interned with True Ag and Turf LLC

  • ✔

    Applicant(s) must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in diesel mechanics/technology, precision
    agriculture or agribusiness.

  • ✔

    Applicant(s) must plan to enroll in a vocational school, community college, or four-year university
    program related to diesel mechanics/technology, precision agriculture, or agribusiness.

Scholarship Amount

The True Ag and Turf LLC Future Innovator Scholarship offers financial assistance of up to $5,000 per semester, provided recipient(s) maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Recipient(s) are required to commit to three (3) years of employment with True Ag and Turf LLC upon completion of their degree program. Additionally, recipients will receive a one-time award of $5,000 for the purchase of tools by their supplier of choice.

To apply for the True Ag and Turf LLC Future Innovator Scholarship, applicants must submit the following:

    Completed scholarship application form

  • ✔

    High School Transcript

  • ✔

    One (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher, advisor, or community leader.

  • ✔

    Personal statement (500 words max) explaining:
    a. Interest in diesel mechanics/technology, precision agriculture, or agribusiness.
    b. Career goals and inspirations
    c. How the scholarship will support educational and career objectives

  • ✔

    Optional: Any additional documentation. (e.g., extracurricular activities such as FFA) highlighting relevant achievements or experiences.

Application Deadline

The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is March 28, 2025.

Selection Process:

• Scholarship recipient(s) will be selected based on the level of academic achievement, demonstrated passion for the agricultural industry, leadership potential, and the strength of their personal statement.
• A selection committee comprised of representatives from True Ag and Turf LLC will review the applications and select the scholarship recipient(s).
• With the completion of this application you will automatically be enrolled for a scholarship with INEDA's (Iowa Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association) scholarship is https://ineda.com/educate/.
• Recipients for True Ag and Turf LLC Scholarship will be announced and notified April 18, 2024.
• Funds will be distributed once proof of enrollment into the educational program has been provided to the scholarship committee. Upon notification of selection, scholarship recipient(s) will be informed of the address to send enrollment verification.
• If a selected candidate fails to provide proof of enrollment into an educational program or does not attend the educational program in the fall semester, the next eligible candidate will be awarded the scholarship in their stead.
• By submitting an application, the applicant is granting permission for True Ag and Turf LLC to potentially use submitted material and/or photos of the applicant on either company's website, social media accounts or published materials highlighting the scholarship program and retains rights to all entries once submitted.
