About Us

A MULTI-LOCATION AGRICULTURE DEALERSHIP FAMILY

In July 2023, True Ag & Turf was created as a collaboration of 3 small family-owned businesses. With the desire to continue to serve all of its customers with the same commitment to family values. With a focus on customer service we are forming partnerships with local farmers who we trust and value their loyalty.

With a full lineup of machinery and a technology platform that will allow the professional producer to become more efficient and more productive within his operation we can achieve success together.

The History of Our Founding Dealerships

  • MANZER EQUIPMENT, INC.

Manzer Equipment, Inc. was founded in August 1975 when Chris and Vivian Manzer purchased the Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment Dealership in Pierce, Nebraska. In May 1976, the business moved into a new facility at the present location in Osmond, Nebraska. In 1999, Steve Manzer, the second generation, assumed management of the business. In 2009, Bryce Dennis, third generation, became involved in the business as the Product Support Manager and 2011 Leah (Manzer) Orr, also third generation took on the role of Controller/Operations Manager. Bryan Manzer, also third generation, joined the family’s Nebraska-based dealership full-time in May 2021 in the Sales Department.

  • MERZ FARM EQUIPMENT

In 1953 Nelson Merz purchased the local Ferguson tractor dealership in Falls City, NE from Harold Strauss. Over the years a lot has changed; however, we always remained committed to our family values, which drove Nelson to build the business placing an emphasis on its customer’s needs and goals. Throughout the years Nelson’s three sonsβ€”Dennis, Gale, and Bruceβ€”took over the family business, with help from their sisters periodically. The 3rd Generation was welcomed back to the dealership in 2010 when Mitch returned. Additionally, the Merz family has plenty of excellent employees who consider themselves part of the family!

  • WEST POINT IMPLEMENT OF COLUMBUS

In November of 2005, West Point Implement purchased the AGCO dealership in Columbus. This dealership was previously Garreston Equipment which had been servicing Columbus and the surrounding communities for over 40 years.
