Precision Ag and Product Specialist:
- Responsible for sales and support of Precision Planting, PTx Trimble, and any other precision ag product portfolios carried by True Ag and Turf
- Complete technical experts on the operation, configuration, and optimization of AGCO products including Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Gleaner agricultural machines
Responsibilities
- Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer technology needs. • Assists sales personnel to ensure machinery being quoted to customers meets the expected/required horsepower, hydraulic capacity, cooling capacity, throughput with technical expertise
- Install auto guidance and/or implement control systems from Precision Planting or PTx Trimble on new and aftermarket pieces of equipment
- Answer questions or solve problems by phone or in-person during peak spring and fall seasons of the year regarding basic terminal navigation all the way up to master level troubleshooting
- Perform in-field machine demonstrations that showcase to the customer the efficiency, power, and overall value of Fendt, MF, and Gleaner equipment
- Create a positive experience for all customers through attitude, helpfulness, clarity, and innovation. Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge: • Basic data entry/keyboarding skills.
- Operational experience with Precision Ag equipment of any brand is a plus. • Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electronic, engine systems is preferred • Precision Planting installation or operational experience is a plus
- 2-Year Associate’s Degree or 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Ag Technology, Mechanized Systems Management, Ag Systems Technology preferred if prior work experience in the field is not yet established
Pay dependent on experience. $50-$80k Salary
